Vit et travaille \u00e0 Marseille<\/p>\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure d\u2019Art Graphique Penninghen en 2010 et des Beaux-Arts de Paris en 2017, Charles Le Hyaric (1987) vit et travaille \u00e0 Marseille. Il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 plusieurs installations et sculptures monumentales in situ dans le cadre d\u2019expositions collectives, notamment \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie des beaux-arts de Riga et \u00e0 la Galleria Continua \u2013 Les Moulins. En 2018, la fondation pour l\u2019art contemporain Claudine et Jean-Marc Salomon lui consacre une exposition personnelle dans son nouveau lieu, La FabriC \u00e0 Annecy. En 2020, la Galerie Papillon, qui le repr\u00e9sente, a organis\u00e9 sa troisi\u00e8me exposition personnelle dans ses espaces, et il a notamment particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re biennale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la jeune cr\u00e9ation organis\u00e9e au Mus\u00e9e d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-\u00c9tienne M\u00e9tropole, avec l’ESADSE et Art Press.<\/p>\n

Nich\u00e9e au creux de l’olivier, la n\u00e9buleuse des dryades s\u2019int\u00e8gre au lieu qu\u2019elle investit.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur place en filasse, sa forme \u00e9voque tout aussi bien une cr\u00e9ature onirique, une b\u00eate ou une carcasse archa\u00efque, un mammif\u00e8re aux origines ind\u00e9finissables. En s\u2019approchant de l\u2019oeuvre, le spectateur y verra une ouverture. Il peut y glisser la t\u00eate et d\u00e9couvrir un tout autre univers : un monde organique, biologique, cellulaire, rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re ondulante qui traverse le maillage de la structure ainsi que le feuillage des arbres dans lesquels la sculpture prend place. L\u2019\u0153uvre a vocation \u00e0 se confondre dans le paysage, et changer d’apparence au cours du temps.<\/p>\n

Charles Le Hyaric (1987) graduated from the \u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure d’Art Graphique Penninghen in 2010 and the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2017. He has created several installations and monumental sculptures in situ as part of group exhibitions, notably at the Academy of Fine Arts in Riga and at Galleria Continua – Les Moulins. In 2018, the Claudine and Jean-Marc Salomon Foundation for Contemporary Art is devoting a solo exhibition to him in its new venue, La FabriC in Annecy. In 2020, the Galerie Papillon, which represents him, organised his third solo exhibition in its spaces, and he notably participated in the first biennial dedicated to young creation organised at the Mus\u00e9e d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-\u00c9tienne M\u00e9tropole, with the ESADSE and Art Press.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nestled in the hollow of the olive tree, the nebula of the dryads is integrated into the place it occupies.<\/em><\/p>\n

Made on the spot in filasse, its shape evokes a dreamlike creature, a beast or an archaic carcass, a mammal of indefinable origins. When approaching the work, the spectator will see an opening. He can slide his head in and discover a completely different universe: an organic, biological, cellular world, made possible by the undulating light that passes through the mesh of the structure as well as the foliage of the trees in which the sculpture is set. The work is intended to blend into the landscape and change its appearance over time.<\/em><\/p>\n
