Convaincu du r\u00f4le essentiel des galeries aupr\u00e8s des artistes, Laurent Godin fonde en 2005, sa galerie, avec pour seul capital la confiance et le soutien de nombreux artistes.<\/p>\n

Ouverte dans le Marais \u00e0 quelques m\u00e8tres du Centre Pompidou, la galerie investit un second espace dans le 13e arrondissement en octobre 2015 avant d\u2019y d\u00e9m\u00e9nager en Septembre 2017. Ce lieu de 500 m2, situ\u00e9 en dehors du circuit classique des galeries d\u2019art, doit se comprendre comme une invitation \u00e0 prendre le temps, \u00e0 repenser notre relation aux oeuvres et aux expositions.<\/p>\n

La galerie repr\u00e9sente aujourd\u2019hui une vingtaine d\u2019artistes \u00e9mergents et \u00e9tablis, dont le travail a pour point commun de participer \u00e0 la discussion et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019art contemporain, avec une attention particuli\u00e8re port\u00e9e sur les champs politiques et socio-culturels.<\/p>\n

La Galerie Laurent Godin repr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement ses artistes dans les foires d\u2019art contemporain parmi les plus importantes en France comme \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>\n

Convinced of the essential role of galleries for artists, Laurent Godin founded his own gallery in 2005, with the trust and support of many artists as his only capital.<\/em><\/p>\n

Open in the Marais, a few meters from the Centre Pompidou, the gallery opens a second location in the 13th arrondissement in October 2015 before moving there in September 2017. This 500m2 space, located outside the classic art gallery circuit, should be understood as an invitation to take time, to rethink our relationship to works and exhibitions.<\/em><\/p>\n

The gallery now represents some twenty emerging and established artists, whose work has in common the fact that they participate in the discussion and evolution of contemporary art, with a particular focus on political and socio-cultural fields.<\/em><\/p>\n

Galerie Laurent Godin also represents its artists at some of the most important contemporary art fairs in France and abroad.<\/em><\/p>\n
