Tout en se confrontant \u00e0 une m\u00e9moire collective, sa pratique trouve souvent son origine dans une exp\u00e9rience personnelle,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement r\u00e9sultat d\u2019un processus intime et d\u2019un moment partag\u00e9 avec quelqu\u2019un qu\u2019il aime. Sa fa\u00e7on unique, et parfois irr\u00e9v\u00e9rencieuse, de confronter de mani\u00e8re ludique l\u2019essence de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, aboutit \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion profonde sur la m\u00e9moire, la libert\u00e9, l\u2019identit\u00e9 culturelle et les d\u00e9couvertes de la vie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Kamel Mennour et Petrit Halilaj travaillent ensemble depuis 2014.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le travail de Petrit Halilaj a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019expositions individuelles au Fries Museum de Leeuwarden, \u00e0 la Tate St Ives, au Museo Reina Sof\u00eda, Madrid ; au New Museum, NYC ; \u00e0 la Fondazione Merz, Turin ; au Zentrum Paul Klee, Berne ; au Hammer Museum, Los Angeles ; au HangarBicocca, Milan ; au K\u00f6lnischer Kunstverein, Cologne ; \u00e0 la Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn ; \u00e0 la Galerie nationale du Kosovo, Pristina ; \u00e0 la Kunsthalle Lissabon, Lisbonne.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Il a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des expositions collectives \u00e0 la 15e Biennale de Lyon, au Louisiana Museum au Danemark, au Palais de Tokyo \u00e0 Paris, au MAK Center for Art and Architecture \u00e0 Los Angeles, au Palazzo Grassi &#8211; Pinault Collection \u00e0 Venise, \u00e0 NEON \u00e0 Mykonos en Gr\u00e8ce et au Westf\u00e4lischer Kunstverein \u00e0 M\u00fcnster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Petrit Halilaj a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le Kosovo \u00e0 la 55e Biennale de Venise en 2013. Il a re\u00e7u le prix Mario Merz et la mention sp\u00e9ciale du jury lors de la 57e Biennale de Venise en 2017. En 2022, il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 Manifesta 14 \u00e0 Prishtina, au Kosovo.<\/p>\n<p>Petrit Halilaj est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/bis-art.com\/index.php\/mennour\/\">Mennour<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-ast-global-color-0-background-color has-ast-global-color-0-color is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Born in 1986 in Kost\u00ebrc (Kosovo)<\/em><br \/><em>Lives and works in-between Germany, Kosovo and Italy. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Petrit Halilaj&#8217;s work is deeply linked to the recent history of his country and the consequences of political and cultural tensions in the region. While confronting a collective memory, his practice is often rooted in a personal experience, usually the result of an intimate process and a moment shared with someone he loves. His unique, and sometimes irreverent, way of playfully confronting the essence of reality leads to a profound reflection on memory, freedom, cultural identity and life&#8217;s discoveries.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Kamel Mennour and Petrit Halilaj have been working together since 2014.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Petrit Halilaj&#8217;s work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at the Fries Museum, Leeuwarden; the Tate St Ives; the Museo Reina Sof\u00eda, Madrid; the New Museum, NYC; the Fondazione Merz, Turin; Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; HangarBicocca, Milan; K\u00f6lnischer Kunstverein, Cologne; Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn; National Gallery of Kosovo, Pristina; Kunsthalle Lissabon, Lisbon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He has also taken part in group exhibitions at the 15th Lyon Biennial, the Louisiana Museum in Denmark, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles, the Palazzo Grassi &#8211; Pinault Collection in Venice, NEON in Mykonos, Greece, and the Westf\u00e4lischer Kunstverein in M\u00fcnster.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Petrit Halilaj represented Kosovo at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013. He received the Mario Merz prize and the jury&#8217;s special mention at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017.
