Sa pratique fait souvent appel aux sons, aux objets trouv\u00e9s et au texte en invoquant des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences \u00e0 la litt\u00e9rature, au cin\u00e9ma, et aux traditions conceptuelles. En d\u00e9tournant objets, techniques et formes au-del\u00e0 de leurs contextes d\u2019origine, et en les introduisant dans diff\u00e9rents environnements, Webb cr\u00e9e de nouveaux espaces de tension. His practice often makes use of sound, found objects and text, invoking references to literature, film and conceptual traditions. By diverting objects, techniques and forms beyond their original contexts, and introducing them into different environments, Webb creates new spaces of tension. These new methodologies bring together Webb&#8217;s areas of experience in comparative religion, theatre studies and advertising, offering poetic investigations of belief systems and communication dynamics in our contemporary world.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>His work has been presented in numerous international institutions including: the Jeddah Islamic Arts Biennial (2023), the 16th Lyon Biennial (2022, 2007), the 12th Curitiba International Biennial (2019), the 13th Dakar Biennial (2018), the Art Institute of Chicago (United States, 2018), the 4th Prospect Triennial in New Orleans (2017), documenta 14 (2017), the 13th Sharjah Biennale (2017), the 12th Havana Biennale (2015), the 55th Venice Biennale (2013), CentroCentro, Madrid (Spain, 2013).<\/p>\n<p><em>Created in 2004, There&#8217;s No Place Called Home is a recurring intervention in which audio recordings of specific foreign bird calls are deployed in local environments.
