hunt kastner est une galerie d’art contemporain situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Prague. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2006 par Camille Hunt et Katherine Kastner en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 un besoin de repr\u00e9sentation plus professionnelle des artistes tch\u00e8ques, tant au niveau local qu’\u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger. \u00c0 l’\u00e9poque de la cr\u00e9ation de la galerie, il n’existait pas de tradition \u00e9tablie de galeries commerciales en R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que pr\u00e9sentant un programme international et soutenant la production et l’exposition de nouvelles \u0153uvres contemporaines, ou repr\u00e9sentant et promouvant activement le travail des artistes \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger. Aujourd’hui, hunt kastner est une pr\u00e9sence bien connue dans le monde international des galeries d’art, pr\u00e9sentant un programme de haute qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 Prague, ainsi que dans des foires d’art prestigieuses \u00e0 travers le monde.\u00a0 Avec une liste de dix-sept artistes, la galerie travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec certains des meilleurs et des plus innovants artistes de la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, des artistes en milieu de carri\u00e8re ainsi qu’un certain nombre d’artistes plus \u00e2g\u00e9s qui ont eu une influence durable sur leurs homologues plus jeunes.<\/p>\n

La galerie produit 6 \u00e0 8 expositions par an, y compris des expositions individuelles d’artistes de la galerie et d’artistes invit\u00e9s, ainsi que des expositions de groupe organis\u00e9es. En 2017, la galerie a \u00e9galement ouvert un espace de projet sur le site qui accueille 2 \u00e0 3 expositions suppl\u00e9mentaires par an.<\/p>\n

hunt kastner is a contemporary art gallery in Prague that was established in 2006 by Camille Hunt and Katherine Kastner in response to a need for more professional representation of Czech artists both locally and abroad. At the time the gallery was founded there was no established tradition of commercial galleries in the Czech Republic presenting an international program and supporting the production and exhibition of new contemporary work, or who actively represented and promoted artists\u2019 work abroad. Today, hunt kastner is a well-known presence in the international gallery art world, presenting a high-quality program in Prague, as well as at prestigious art fairs around the world.\u00a0 With a roster of seventeen artists, the gallery closely works with some of the best and most innovative artists of the younger generation, mid-career artists as well as a number of older artists who have had an enduring influence on their younger counterparts.<\/p>\n

The gallery produces 6-8 exhibitions a year, including solo exhibitions of gallery and invited artists, as well as curated group exhibitions. In 2017, we also opened a project space on site which hosts an additional 2-3 exhibitions per year.<\/p>\n
