Claudie Poinsard est n\u00e9e \u00e0 Douala, de l\u2019improbable rencontre entre une jeune camerounaise dont la famille a des origines s\u00e9culaires \u00e0 Bonapriso et un ing\u00e9nieur g\u00e9om\u00e8tre fran\u00e7ais issu des terroirs lorrains et proven\u00e7aux. N\u00e9e entre deux cultures, elle expose sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale une \u0153uvre peinte riche et dense.<\/p>\n

Dans son approche plastique, elle envisage des corps aux limites de leur repr\u00e9sentation. Sa th\u00e9matique vise \u00e0 d\u00e9construire la belle forme du corps, celle du double en miroir pour en laisser paraitre la vacuit\u00e9. L\u2019image du corps, fondue ou figur\u00e9e, perdue dans la mati\u00e8re et inscrite dans le trait, se fragmente laissant entrevoir l\u2019arbitraire de son enveloppe. Les axes principaux de son travail appr\u00e9hendent l\u2019humanit\u00e9 moderne : la question des racines, la culture du d\u00e9chet, le culte du beau, la solitude dans l\u2019\u00eatre.<\/p>\n

This summer, Galerie Ot\u00e9ro is presenting two artists, Claudie Poinsard and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Lange, whose spontaneous, highly sensitive works focus on memory, nature and the body.<\/em><\/p>\n

Galerie Ot\u00e9ro presents Claudie Poinsard<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Claudie Poinsard was born in Douala, the result of an unlikely meeting between a young Cameroonian woman whose family has centuries-old roots in Bonapriso and a French surveyor with roots in Lorraine and Provence. Born between two cultures, she has exhibited a rich and dense body of work on the international scene.<\/em><\/p>\n

In her approach to art, she considers bodies at the limits of their representation. Her theme aims to deconstruct the beautiful form of the body, that of the mirrored double, to reveal its emptiness. The image of the body, fused or figurative, lost in the material and inscribed in the line, becomes fragmented, revealing the arbitrariness of its envelope. The main themes of his work reflect modern humanity: the question of roots, the culture of waste, the cult of beauty, the solitude of being.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
