La peinture de Virginie Delmas joue sur les superpositions et fait vibrer la mati\u00e8re pour donner \u00e0 voir la fulgurance d\u2019un moment, en r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la po\u00e9sie, et singulariser l\u2019essence du monde qui nous entoure.<\/p>\n

Son travail pictural se nourrit de sa connaissance des grands Maitres, mais surtout de l\u2019observation incessante du monde qui l\u2019entoure, et plus particuli\u00e8rement, de son regard pos\u00e9 les gens.<\/p>\n

Ses \u0153uvres se composent autour d\u2019un geste, d\u2019une intention, d\u2019un d\u00e9tail insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9. Chaque fragment de posture, saisi sur le vif, r\u00e9v\u00e8le la po\u00e9sie de l\u2019ordinaire. La vibration d\u2019une couleur, le miroitement d\u2019une lumi\u00e8re, le chatoiement d\u2019une \u00e9toffe, l\u2019iridescence d\u2019un reflet guident l\u2019artiste afin de capter et de transmettre la fulgurance de ces \u00e9clats du monde.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence for the past 15 years, the gallery has succeeded in combining “contemporary art” by major international and local artists, with the history of “modern art” in the memory of the Great Masters.<\/em><\/p>\n

Virginie Delmas’s painting plays on superimpositions and makes the material vibrate to reveal the flash of a moment, to reveal its poetry, and to single out the essence of the world around us.<\/em><\/p>\n

Her pictorial work is nourished by her knowledge of the great Masters, but above all by her incessant observation of the world around her, and more particularly by her way of looking at people.<\/em><\/p>\n

His works are built around a gesture, an intention, an unsuspected detail. Each fragment of posture, captured on the spot, reveals the poetry of the ordinary. The vibration of a colour, the shimmer of a light, the shimmer of a fabric, the iridescence of a reflection guide the artist in capturing and transmitting the dazzle of these flashes of the world.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
