La Galerie Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gollong pr\u00e9sente depuis plus de 45 ans des peintures, sculptures, lithographies et bijoux d\u2019artistes contemporains c\u00e9l\u00e8bres et \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir.<\/p>\n

La Galerie Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gollong pr\u00e9sente Alexis Gorodine<\/b><\/p>\n

Alexis Gorodine est n\u00e9 en 1954. Ing\u00e9nieur des travaux publics, il se consacre depuis 1972 \u00e0 la peinture. Il vit et travaille \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Trac\u00e9s au fusain, les animaux de Gorodine participent autant de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 que du fantastique. Cerfs, h\u00e9rons, li\u00e8vres, mais aussi griffons et licornes, d\u2019autres esp\u00e8ces \u00e9chappent \u00e0 toute cat\u00e9gorisation. Plut\u00f4t que de s\u2019int\u00e9resser comme le font les pal\u00e9ontologues aux esp\u00e8ces animales d\u2019un lointain pass\u00e9, il s\u2019est interrog\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00e9volution probable des animaux dans un lointain futur, \u00e0 quarante millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Mais r\u00e9els, mythologiques ou futuristes tous ces animaux sont trait\u00e9s avec une identique attention \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re, cendre de bois travaill\u00e9e avec un liant, et acrylique. Le r\u00e9sultat donne l\u2019impression d\u2019une peinture sur laquelle le temps aurait fait son \u0153uvre\u2026 \u00bb – Serge Hartmann<\/p>\n

Galerie Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gollong has been exhibiting paintings, sculptures, lithographs and jewellery by famous and up-and-coming contemporary artists for over 45 years.<\/em><\/p>\n

Galerie Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gollong presents Alexis Gorodine<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Alexis Gorodine was born in 1954. A public works engineer, he has devoted himself to painting since 1972. He lives and works in Paris.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Drawn in charcoal, Gorodine’s animals are as much part of reality as fantasy. Deer, herons, hares, but also griffins and unicorns, other species escape any categorisation. Rather than focusing, as palaeontologists do, on animal species from the distant past, he looked at the likely evolution of animals in the distant future, forty million years from now.<\/em><\/p>\n

Whether real, mythological or futuristic, all these animals are treated with the same attention to material, wood ash worked with a binder, and acrylic. The result gives the impression of a painting on which time has done its work…”. – Serge Hartmann<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
