La Galerie Lefakis a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par Zinon Lefakis en 1979 \u00e0 Ath\u00e8nes. Cette galerie d’art contemporain travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec des artistes choisis pour la qualit\u00e9 de leur travail et l’originalit\u00e9 de leur expression artistique.
Au cours des 40 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la Galerie Lefakis s’est impos\u00e9e comme l’une des galeries les plus prestigieuses de Gr\u00e8ce, pr\u00e9sentant certains des artistes grecs et internationaux les plus en vue.<\/p>\n

La Galerie Lefakis pr\u00e9sente Costas Varotsos<\/b><\/p>\n

Costas Varotsos est n\u00e9 \u00e0 Ath\u00e8nes en 1955. Il \u00e9tudie la peinture \u00e0 l’Accademia di Belle Arti de Rome et poursuit ses \u00e9tudes d’architecture \u00e0 l’ArteScuola di Architettura de l’Universit\u00e9 de Pescara en Italie.<\/p>\n

Sa c\u00e9l\u00e8bre sculpture de 8 m\u00e8tres de haut “The Runner” est un point de rep\u00e8re du centre d’Ath\u00e8nes. Au cours de sa carri\u00e8re, Varotsos a cr\u00e9\u00e9 et install\u00e9 des sculptures pour des collections priv\u00e9es et des espaces publics et des mus\u00e9es en Italie, en Gr\u00e8ce, \u00e0 Chypre, en Allemagne, en France, en Belgique, en Suisse, en Espagne, en Chine, au Japon, en \u00c9gypte, au Br\u00e9sil, aux \u00c9tats-Unis et au Royaume-Uni.<\/p>\n

The Lefakis Gallery was founded by Zinon Lefakis in 1979 in Athens. This contemporary art gallery works closely with artists chosen for the quality of their work and the originality of their artistic expression.<\/em>
Over the past 40 years, the Lefakis Gallery has established itself as one of the most prestigious galleries in Greece, presenting some of the most prominent Greek and international artists.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Lefakis Gallery presents Costas Varotsos<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Costas Varotsos was born in Athens in 1955. He studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and architecture at the ArteScuola di Architettura of the University of Pescara in Italy.<\/em><\/p>\n

His famous 8-metre-high sculpture “The Runner” is a landmark in the centre of Athens. Over the course of his career, Varotsos has created and installed sculptures for private collections, public spaces and museums in Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, China, Japan, Egypt, Brazil, the United States and the United Kingdom.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
