Sous la pr\u00e9sidence d\u2019Olivier Kaeppelin et le commissariat artistique de Ludovic Delalande et Claire Staebler, la Biennale Internationale Saint-Paul de Vence revient pour sa troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition du 3 juin au 1er octobre 2023. Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition pr\u00e9sentant les \u0153uvres d\u2019artistes internationaux et une seconde consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 celles de jeunes artistes, la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition de BIS invite pendant quatre mois douze artistes d\u2019origines et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rations diff\u00e9rentes, qui investiront les espaces publics du village patrimonial de Saint-Paul de Vence.<\/p>\n

La Biennale a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 Ludovic Delalande, historien d\u2019art et commissaire d\u2019exposition et \u00e0 Claire Staebler, directrice des Frac Pays de la Loire \u00e0 Nantes et Carquefou, d\u2019assurer le commissariat artistique de cette nouvelle \u00e9dition.<\/p>\n

La m\u00e9diation sera au c\u0153ur du projet artistique et culturel de cette \u00e9dition afin de sensibiliser tous les publics \u00e0 l\u2019art contemporain. Des actions \u00e9ducatives sp\u00e9cifiques seront organis\u00e9es aussi bien pour les publics scolaires que pour les publics emp\u00each\u00e9s. Par ailleurs, le Parcours des galeries saint-pauloises, opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9changes et d\u2019\u00e9mulation artistique, sera d\u00e9velopp\u00e9. Chaque galerie participante pr\u00e9sentera dans son espace un artiste de son choix, qu\u2019elle mettra en lumi\u00e8re le temps de la Biennale.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Under the presidency of Olivier Kaeppelin and the artistic curatorship of Ludovic Delalande and Claire Staebler, the Saint-Paul de Vence International Biennial returns for its third edition from 3 June to 1 October 2023. After a first edition presenting the works of international artists and a second devoted to those of young artists, the third edition of BIS invites twelve artists of different origins and generations to take over the public spaces of the heritage village of Saint-Paul de Vence for four months.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Biennial has asked Ludovic Delalande, art historian and exhibition curator, and Claire Staebler, director of the Frac Pays de la Loire in Nantes and Carquefou, to be the artistic curators for this new edition.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mediation will be at the heart of the artistic and cultural project of this edition in order to raise awareness of contemporary art among all audiences. Specific educational activities will be organised for both school audiences and the disabled. In addition, the Saint Paul galleries’ tour, an opportunity for exchange and artistic emulation, will be developed. Each participating gallery will present an artist of its choice in its space, which it will highlight during the Biennial.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
