La peinture de Virginie Delmas joue sur les superpositions et fait vibrer la matière pour donner à voir la fulgurance d’un moment, en révéler la poésie, et singulariser l’essence du monde qui nous entoure.

Son travail pictural se nourrit de sa connaissance des grands Maitres, mais surtout de l’observation incessante du monde qui l’entoure, et plus particulièrement, de son regard posé les gens.

Ses œuvres se composent autour d’un geste, d’une intention, d’un détail insoupçonné. Chaque fragment de posture, saisi sur le vif, révèle la poésie de l’ordinaire. La vibration d’une couleur, le miroitement d’une lumière, le chatoiement d’une étoffe, l’iridescence d’un reflet guident l’artiste afin de capter et de transmettre la fulgurance de ces éclats du monde.
