Depuis 1975, la galerie Catherine Issert développe une programmation artistique tournée vers les artistes de la scène contemporaine internationale. 

La galerie Catherine Issert présente Martin Belou

Martin Belou (l’Union, 1986) est un artiste qui crée des situations performatives et des expériences utilisant les éléments (terre, eau, air, feu). Conduit par l’intuition et un savoir-faire artisanal, l’artiste combine sculpture, dessins et matières organiques dans des installations qui parlent souvent de notions universelles liées au travail manuel, la tradition et la communauté.

En mars 2019, Martin Belou a présenté sa première exposition personnelle en galerie à Marseille chez Catherine Bastide Projects, en partenariat avec Triangle France – Astérides. Il a également participé à l’exposition « Futur, Ancien, Fugitif » dédiée à la scène artistique française au Palais de Tokyo, Paris ; puis présenté une exposition personnelle à la Bernier/Eliades Gallery en 2020 et à la Galerie Catherine Issert, Nota Bene, en juin 2021.

Galerie Catherine Issert presents Martin Belou

Martin Belou (l’Union, 1986) is an artist who creates performative situations and experiments using the elements (earth, water, air, fire). Driven by intuition and craftsmanship, the artist combines sculpture, drawing and organic materials in installations that often speak to universal notions of manual labour, tradition and community.

In March 2019, Martin Belou presented his first solo gallery show in Marseille at Catherine Bastide Projects, in partnership with Triangle France – Astérides. He also took part in the “Futur, Ancien, Fugitif” exhibition dedicated to the French art scene at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris; then presented a solo show at Bernier/Eliades Gallery in 2020 and at Galerie Catherine Issert, Nota Bene, in June 2021.
