Transports Longué
C’est un coup de foudre qui fit naître les Transports Longué. Nous sommes à la fin des années 1980 . Agnès, fille de transporteur déménageur, et Patrice Longué tombé amoureux de Vence, se sont rencontrés lors de leurs études de qualification en transport et logistique.
L’endroit était idéal, et la reprise d’une petite société locale de déménagement l’aboutissement d’un rêve commun.
Années après années, le sérieux et le labeur firent le reste. Travailler, transporter, prendre soin des clients dans une micro région vouée à l’art et au bien vivre, fit de la maison Longué une entité incontournable en pays Vençois.
La proximité et l’intérêt des artistes locaux pour le travail bien fait, devint vite une évidence.
Aujourd’hui les transports Longué, dirigés par leur fils Sébastien, élevé depuis sa tendre enfance dans l’atmosphère et la rigueur de la perfection exigée, continue avec professionnalisme le transport, les transferts et le conditionnement des chefs d’œuvres de nos plus grands artistes régionaux.
Élevée dans l’univers des plus grands, sa fidèle équipe d’enfants de la ville, a grandi en travaillant pour Arman, Tobiasse ,Franta, Ritchie, Fahri, Cesar, Ben, Aimé Maeght, Alphonse Chave, Sagasta…
En passant par tous les chemins entre Vence et St Paul, parcourus par Matisse, Chagall, Raoul Dufy, Braque, Miró, Giacometti …
Le transport de l’art ne s’est pas improvisé. Il est devenu une évidence tant nous en étions ses contemporains et témoins directs. Sortir des sentiers battus, affréter, conditionner, mener a bien nos missions à travers la France et le monde, est depuis, devenu notre credo !
C’est avec fierté et bienveillance que nous sommes partenaires techniques de la Biennale internationale Saint-Paul de Vence depuis la 2e édition .

It was love at first sight that gave birth to Transports Longué. It was the end of the 1980s. Agnès, the daughter of a removal operator, and Patrice Longué, who had fallen in love with Vence, met while studying for a qualification in transport and logistics.
The location was ideal, and taking over a small local removals company was the culmination of a shared dream.
Year after year, hard work and dedication did the rest. Working, transporting and looking after customers in a micro region devoted to art and good living made Maison Longué an essential part of the Vençois region.
The proximity and interest of local artists in a job well done soon became obvious.
Today, transport Longué, managed by their son Sébastien, brought up since his childhood in the atmosphere and rigour of the perfection demanded, continues with professionalism the transport, transfers and packaging of the masterpieces of our greatest regional artists.

Transporting art is not something you can improvise. It became a matter of course, so much so that we were its contemporaries and direct witnesses. Going off the beaten track, chartering, packing and carrying out our missions throughout France and the world have since become our credo!
It is with pride and goodwill that we have been technical partners of the Saint-Paul de Vence International Biennial since its 2nd edition.
