Galerie Sator
Ouverte en 2011 dans le Marais à Paris, la galerie Sator s’attache à la promotion d’artistes internationaux émergents ou en voie de confirmation. La ligne de la galerie se définit dans un rapport référencé de l’art à d’autres formes artistiques ou de création de la pensée : la politique, l’histoire, l’histoire de l’art, la littérature, la philosophie ou les sciences ayant pour vocation de questionner la place de l’Homme dans le monde, d’offrir un outil de réflexion sur les sociétés contemporaines, leur évolution et mutation, leur rapport au territoire. Le questionnement sur l’image et sur la production de la forme plastique complètent cette approche.
A l’automne 2019, la galerie Sator a rejoint Komunuma à Romainville. Dans ce deuxième espace, sur un plateau de cent trente mètres carrés, la galerie développe à la fois les expositions monographiques de ses artistes mais aussi de nouvelles invitations et projets curatoriaux.

Founded in 2011 in the Marais in Paris, Galerie Sator promotes the work of emerging and developing international artists.
The gallery is characterized by its strong emphasis on visual art that references other forms of art and a range of fields of thought – politics, history, history of art, literature, philosophy and science – which seek to question the place of the human in the world and offer tools for critical reflection on contemporary societies, their evolution and their transformation, and their territorial relationships. An ongoing investigation of the image and the production of plastic forms complete the gallery’s approach.
In Autumn 2019, Galerie Sator joined Komunuma in Romainville. This exhibition space of some 130m2 offers a second site for the gallery to present and promote specific curatorial projects.
